Hollidazzle Holiday Parade!

Jeff and I took June to the Hollidazzle parade in Minneapolis last Friday. It was our first big snowfall of the season and it was really pretty. Traffic was a nightmare getting there, rush hour + snow storm = grumpy mom, but once we were there and found a spot on the curb, we enjoyed the snow and the pretty parade lights. We couldn't tell if June was having fun or not, but once she started leaning out as far as she could go, stretching, trying to see the floats and lights; we knew she was enjoying it. Her poor little cheeks look so red, but so do Jeff's, so she must get that from her dad. I on the other hand look as pale as usual; not even a snowy, 12 degree evening can give this girl a glow darn it.
My mom and Charlie met us for the parade too, they said they had a good time too; but I think that was mostly about watching June and not the parade!

Brrrr! Minnesotans as brave souls. June has marvelous cheeks. Just like story-book kids. So happy you all have such wonderful experiences together.
