I suppose I loaded these in the wrong order(but I'm not knowledgeable enough to switch them around), we started out making our Jack-o-lanterns, earlier in the week, then we went trick-or-treating (2 houses!). She enjoyed seeing the kids show up at our house more than she enjoyed being out there. Maybe next year when candy is an actual commodity to her.
June seemed relatively comfortable in her costume, I think maybe the hat part bugged her, but she was a pretty good sport and left it alone for the most part.
She was a skunk, but people kept asking her to say mooooo, so I guess the tail was the most important component of the costume. One of the older little girls at daycare kept telling June to stay away from her because she didn't want to get sprayed. So, there's probably a story there, poor girl.
Very fun Halloween this year, Jeff and I got to eat all of June's candy, makes us all the more excited for next year.
Lead by example.
