Arizona

June and I flew down to see Grandma Lorna and Grandpa Carl on Saturday! Jeff had to stay home to get some work done, but he helped us to catch the flight (the very last seat!) and made sure that the we made it off okay. It was pretty exciting because it was June's first flight and she was just wonderful. Everyone around us kept saying how happy she was and how great she was doing. Some people didn't even know she was there, so that was a big relief.

Carl and Lorna got to show off June to some of their friends, The Larsons, The Lhotkas and The Parriots. She even got to meet her Great Aunt Kathy for the first time. Luckily the weather was just great and we got to take the RV up to the Boyce Thompson Arboretum . They have a beautiful variety of gardens, and thousands of plants. Lorna got to do some off roading on her scooter! Definatley worth a trip back. It was cool to just have June outside in some fresh air! It was such a fun weekend and I'm so happy that June finally got to hang out with her grandparents. She was pretty goofy; growling and chewing on tables, scaring poor Ginger, riding on the golf cart with Grandpa, making a mess with her food.

We had to leave on Monday evening to be able to make it back before Wednesday, so a pretty short trip, but I think we managed to pack a lot of fun into it! Thanks Carl and Lorna!

Bond, June Bond

We bought this little tunnel plaything at Ikea a couple years ago for Rosie. I got it out last night to see if June would be interested or not; and she was so courageous, she just crawled right through it to get to me on the other side! It even took some coaxing to get Rosie to run through it again, so I was really impressed that June was so adventerous! It really did remind me of the James Bond credits though! Who knows, maybe she's a future Bond Girl!

Sleepy Girl

Kind of a dark picture, but was taken with my cell phone today at lunch. I went home to let the dogs out and on my way back I stopped by daycare to visit June really quickly. Wouldn't you know it, she was taking a nap! The only child taking a nap!
Everyone else was running around playing, but our little Junebug was sawing wood like a lumber jack (she must get that from her Dad! or Grandpa Carl from what I hear!)
It was so hard not to wake her up and give her a little hug, so I just snapped a picture instead.
Cutie Pie.

Auntie Gayle and Polka Dots!

June spent Sunday afternoon with Gayle, Mom & Charlie.
They got to see her crawling skills in action and she can really zip along now! This little polka dot coverall is super cute, but we knew Grandma Joy would just hate it, so it's now offically the "Grandma's House Outfit"! Jeff and I are so cruel! Auntie Gayle helped stave off Grandma's attempts at changing her and when the day was over she came home in her polka dots! Victory is ours!
Poor little June has such a stuffy nose, luckily these pictures don't capture the goopy, drippy, sticky mess that seems to collect on her upper lip! Not for the faint-hearted.
