I warned everyone that I would lose some steam on this blog, but I'm back more determined than ever!
We took June to the St. Patrick's Day parade in St. Paul on Saturday. I'm convinced that this is probably only fun if you're very intoxicated. Which is our plan for next year! It was very cold and we probably didn't have June dressed properly, hence mommy's mittens on June's little hands (and arms!). I'm not sure if she saw much, Jeff said she was in a kind of coma, sleeping with her eyes open, trying to conserve heat and energy. She caught some beads (didn't do anything naughty to get them! ) and she got to show off her shamrock t-shirt, which seemed awfully small for being 12 mos., but I suppose she had all of those layers on underneath, it's not her fault she looks like Chris Farley (may he rest in peace)! It was just nice to be outside with her and I think we're all looking forward to fun adventures with her in the future!

ME BONNIE LASS
What color are yer eyes, me lass?
She whispered, Kelly Green.
They had the darndest sparkle in em,
with a twinkle so serene.
Their brillance lit me Irish heart
and lulled me Celtic soul.
Ne're I've seen a brighter pair
a treasure to behold.
The grass upon me Emerald Isle,
lacks luster by compare.
To wish the rainbow had such charm,
tis a shamrock pure and fair.
Just I and me shillelagh
with back of bent and bow,
dare ponder all the gold on earth,
not worth those eyes aglow.
Ay! In me spry and younger day,
when I but not a care,
could conjure up such pleasing thoughts,
tis truly just unfair.
Should you see this bonnie lass,
in passing Downey Street,
don't get yer kilt up-in-a-roar,
she's also got big feet.
{Inherited from her Grandpa Carl?}

Love the pictures. Looks like a good time was had by all. Thank you for posting the pictures.
